Join me for a sacred pause at summer’s end—a self-care retreat designed to help you reset, reflect, and reconnect. Over 6 nights in coastal Portugal, you’ll experience deep transformation through embodied movement, stillness, and soulful practices. This is a space for nervous system renewal, personal reflection, and the kind of belonging that gently brings you back to yourself—rooted, restored, and ready for what’s next. 


I created this for you. For the woman who’s been holding it all—quietly, capably, and often without the space to simply be. This retreat is an invitation back to yourself: not to learn more or do more but to remember what wholeness feels like in your own body. It’s a rare chance to move gently, be witnessed without needing to explain, and reconnect to your own pace—surrounded by women who are ready for a softer, more self-led way of living. 


Once you arrive at Cocoon, you’ll feel the shift: no decisions to make, no roles to play. Just space that is open, steady, and entirely yours. Grounded in Meghan’s RE Method, the retreat is designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional restoration, and meaningful integration. With calm structure and soulful guidance, you’ll be invited to loosen your grip and receive the kind of care that asks nothing of you but presence. There’s nothing to prove or perfect here. The Retreat


SpaceCocoon Portugal is a 275 acre coastal farm + retreat that brings you back in touch with a slower pace and more intentional living. It's a space that has touches of grounded magic, where oversized hammocks welcome naps, and the animals on property greet you each day. Cocoon is the kind of retreat space where each morning is a sacred ritual, as we move and breathe under the canopy of old growth pines. And each evening is a joyful celebration, with dishes made with farm-grown food and supportive dinner conversation with fellow guests.

The Location


Cocoon is situated on the breathtaking Atlantic coast of Portugal, near the charming fishing village of Zambujeira do Mar, in the Alentejo region, which is known for its long stretches of untouched coastline and charming villages. It is about 2 hours south of Lisbon.

    Alcohol (the retreat space has an honesty bar to purchase local wine or beer)
    Accommodation outside of retreat dates; traveler’s insurance (not required but recommended)
    Solo coaching/mentorship sessions with Meghan (available to purchase)

    • All prices are in CAD 
    • The retreat venue is two hours south of Lisbon. It is recommended that you rent a car or carpool (further details and group transportation options will be shared upon signing up)
    • Please be aware that the Canadian government is recommending you to be fully vaccinated to travel 
    • Please reach out to meg@moderntravel.ca to get your flights and travel insurance booked if you need support
    • Please note a terms & conditions and other waivers will be mandatory to sign before the event dates 
    • For all sign up's in 2025, the second and third payments will take place February 1st, 2026 and May 1st, 2026. If you sign up in 2026, payment dates will be assigned on a case-by-case basis depending on date of first payment.


    ASSUMPTION OF RISK: 


    By registering for this retreat, you acknowledge that it involves physical movement, outdoor activities, and international travel, all of which carry inherent risks. You agree to participate voluntarily and at your own risk, confirming that you are in suitable physical and mental condition to do so and will inform the facilitators of any relevant health considerations. You release Meghan Bonhomme Inc., Cocoon Portugal, Modern Travel and all facilitators from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages that may occur, and you assume full responsibility for your participation.



    CANCELLATION POLICY:


      All retreat payments are non-refundable. We understand that life happens. However, due to the nature of retreat planning—including accommodations, meals, and program logistics—all payments are final and non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.

      If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person (subject to approval). By registering, you agree to these terms and take full responsibility for your decision to join this experience.
